Tamara (Tel Aviv, Isreal)

Saw Matinee 2nd January at the Kabuki-za Theatre (Premium tour)

First of all, your lecture about Kabuki-za theater, it's history,
connection to the Japanese tradition was very interesting and helpful in
understanding the performance for people like us, who never have been in
Kabuki theater before.

Also the story about actors dynasties were very unusual.

Second - the visit to Gallery was fun - to play with true things was very
amusing.

And after all this to enjoy the performance paying attention to costumes,
acting makeup, actors' masterpieces - it was real beautiful!

Thank you very much once more and have good and fruitful new year!

Saw the Matinee 28th August show at the Kabuki-za theatre (Regular tour)

Thank you Kazui! We really enjoyed the kabuki show. The lecture was VERY helpful to understand the rules and traditions before the play, it made the experience much more enjoyable. Thank you so much for arranging.

We will share the details with some other friends too.

Saw the Matinee 21st August show at the Kabuki-za theatre (Regular)

Thank you so much for the introduction to Kabuki and help with obtaining these wonderful seats. The first performance was incredible and we are enjoying lunch during intermission . It will be a lovely memory of Japan to take home with us.

Saw Evening 3rd February show at the Kabuki-za theatre (Private tour)

Alex and I were glad we decided to attend the evening performance at Kabuki-za. Your detailed explanation of Kabuki-- the history, plot summaries, actors, etc.--before the show  made this experience one of the highlights of our trip that we will never forget.  The English translating machines were also very helpful to our understanding of the plots.

We appreciated that you met with us during intermissions to show us more of the theater and bring us taiyaki.  So good!

The seats you purchased for us were amazing.  We were so close to all the action and drama!

We were truly fortunate to have been introduced to this traditional Japanese art form by such a passionate supporter.
