"KANADEHON CHŪSHINGURA", first perfromed in 1748, is one of the three major masterpieces shared by both kabuki and the bunraku puppet theater. The story has a total of 11 acts and there are some side stories. Therefore popular parts are often independently performed and audience enjoy side stories even though they don't see whole acts.
